Isolde Winkler (Dipl.-Ing.)
Isolde Winkler graduated in Technological and Biomedical Cybernetics at the Technical College of Ilmenau. During her studies she specialised in Automatic Control and Information Technology. Her practical experience lies above all in the field of electrical switchgear automation. Between 1979 and 1981 she successfully completed a supplementary course on IP Law at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
From 1975 until 1983 Isolde Winkler worked as a Patent Office examiner and from 1983 until 1992 as a patent engineer at ELPRO AG and CAPS Informatics GmbH. In 1990 she qualified as a German patent attorney and in 1991 as a European patent attorney. Until 1997 she held a managerial position at the Brandenburg and Thuringia Technology Transfer Agencies and in 1997 became Head of the Thuringian Inventors' Centre. Isolde Winkler joined Gulde Hengelhaupt Ziebig & Schneider in 1999.
